Human Rights

Our commitment to Human Rights is set out in our Ethics and Conduct RegulationPolicy of Respect for People and their DiversityCorporate Security Policy  and in our  Indigenous Community Relations Policy. The content of these is based on international standards such as the United Nations Global Compact, the fundamental principles and rights at work and Convention 169 of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and the lines of action for the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (OGP).

Respect for Human Rights

Our regulations on a worldwide scale set down the commitment to respect internationally recognised rights.

Training and awareness-raising

We have internal training plans designed to communicate basic ideas regarding Human Rights to all employees.

Priority issues

We are committed to respecting Human Rights wherever we work.

Corporate Security

The protection of facilities and people in a sector as critical as ours must go hand in hand with respect for human rights.
